The following is the grading system for the evaluation of academic performance at Southern Bible College.

- Students failing in a subject may be re-examined only in that subject subsequent failure will require the student to repeat the subject.
- Comprehensive Examination : (for B.Th. students )
- Comprehensive Examination is being held during the final year (6th semester) in the following areas.
- Old Testament
- New Testament
- Christian Theology
- Church History and Religions
- Christian Ministry
- To pass in the comprehensive examination. A student should obtain a minimum of 70% marks in each branch.
- Any branch of the comprehensive examination may be attempted only twice.
