Study on Gospels: BN131 : We learn the word gospel and its definition, the literary character of the gospel, authorship, content, differences among the gospels and similarities, reliability, authenticity and chronology of events. We do learn Jesus’ life-birth, sinless life, death, resurrection, ascension, ministry, and miracles teaching such us: sermon on the mount, kingdom concept, holiness, obedience, repentance, God’s generosity, forgiveness, love and justice. During this course, we will consider the society in which Jesus lived, as well as the religious context in which he taught. We will also ask questions like, “What is a Gospel?” and “Why are the Gospels so different?” The Gospels describe miracles performed by Jesus: healing the sick, casting out the demons of mental illness from the tormented and even bringing the dead back to life. This course will not only equip the student to think critically about the Gospels, but will also provide an opportunity to reflect on the teachings of Jesus for Christian faith and practice.
Study on the book of Psalms: BO131: This Course is a study of the Book of Psalms: its divisions, nature, author and content. This course will be dealt with the text of Psalms and its interpretations. It includes a brief background about the authors of Psalms. Thus this course will lead the students into reading of the entire book of Psalms and to interpret the Psalms.
Detailed study on the book of Acts BN 132: This course is an expositional study of the Book of Acts. Students must remember the basic content and message of the Book of Acts. They have to identify the major themes of the Book of Acts and Know major problem passages and their possible solutions in the Book of Acts. The learners have to gain a greater appreciation for the canonical contributions of the Book of Acts and grow in spiritual maturity through careful and consistent application of the principles found in the Book of Acts
Pentecostalism in South India H131: The course is an overview of global Pentecostalism and will address the dynamics that led to the rise of the Pentecostal movement around the world. This course is a historical survey of the Pentecostal movement, tracing its origin and development from the New Testament period up to the classical and neo-Pentecostal movements of the present century in general and the Assemblies of God in particular. Moreover we teach the origin and development of Pentecostal churches of south India.
Character Formation 1 E131: The course provides guidelines for the elements need for effective and comprehensive character education. And to emphasize the need of character education to help students develop good character, which includes knowing, caring about and acting upon core ethical values such as respect, responsibility, honesty, fairness and compassion. For such themes we like to take people of God from OT.
Prayer and worship I BG 136: This course emphasizes the need of fellowship for a believer with the Lord for himself and for others. The student studies the best prayers of godly peoples of the OT: Adam, Moses, Joshua, Elijah, Hannah, Samuel and David and learns the principles, use of the scripture, spirit filled prayer, kinds and the steps of prayer, use of praises, identifies the hindrances and use ingredients in their prayer. This course also gives some understanding on the definition of worship, the program and the aspects of worship.

This course is designed to help students learn elements of the English language including grammar.. We use Wren and Martin’s English Grammar and Composition book. The Sentence, Subject and Predicate, the phrase and the clause, parts of speech and kinds of nouns are been taught [Lesson1-8].

The purpose of this course is to provide a working knowledge of the language for the purpose of missionary work.

Intro to OT Prophets BO 132 : This course studies the phenomenon of prophecy in ancient Israel and the prophetic literature in the Hebrew Bible/Old Testament. We survey the historical, social, and political background of the Hebrew prophets; their main themes, passages, and relevance to modern times. A survey of the Hebrew prophets and a study of the books of Isaiah, Jeremiah and Ezekiel; Hosea, and Joel, special attention is given to introduction, date, author, occasion and message of each book. Pastoral Epistles BN 133 : In this exegetical study you will set Paul’s pastoral letters against the background of apostolic times. Special attention will be given to the way in which Paul handled false doctrine, to the basic teaching on leadership and church growth, and to the application of the apostle’s teaching to contemporary situations.
History of Apostolic church H132: It is a detail study on the apostolic age based on the book of Acts and Corinthians. This will also provide an exegetical survey of the Corinthian correspondence of the apostle Paul. Special attention will be given to the issues and solution.
